About this Event
The Quadrantids have a very short peak of just a few hours but can produce up to 120 meteors per hour. The narrow peak makes timing critical.
Photography Tips
- Use a wide-angle lens (14mm-24mm) to capture more of the sky.
- Set your camera on a sturdy tripod.
- Use a wide aperture (f/2.8 or wider) and high ISO (1600-3200).
- Take continuous exposures of 15-30 seconds to catch unpredictable meteors.
